At this OpenHouse, guest speakers will highlight how Lund is playing its part in turning European cities and urban ecosystems into the smart cities of the future. It will focus on how to cut energy demand and GHG emissions while increasing the use of renewable energy sources. Attendees will learn more about CITyFiED and the role of district heating in a future sustainable Lund and elsewhere.
The Linero OpenHouse will also feature a panel entitled ‘How do we cooperate to attain far-reaching goals and to facilitate learnings. Attendees will be offered a guided tour of the district to take in the energy efficient retrofitting carried out by LKF, a municipal-owned company.
