The CITyFIED project shared its insights into replicable and systemic smart cities this 2-5 June at the Smart City Event in Amsterdam.
Whilst the main agenda had plenty for the 500 or so participants, with keynote speeches from Neelie Kroes and a range of academic and industry, CITyFIED will be sharing project plans in detail.

Markus Paulsson, Energy Strategist, City of Lund co-chaired a roundtable session on creating extensive nearly-zero energy districts renovations citing the works in Valladolid, Lund, Soma and the range of cities in the cluster and community of interest.
The holistic approach of the project enriched by the experiences in nearly 40 cities across Europe was the basis for a stimulating discussion with fellow cities, energy experts and smart cities pioneers.
