The “Empowering Smart Solutions For better cities” Conference (Budapest, 2-3 October 2017), organised by the European Commission and the Smart Cities Information System, is an opportunity to meet with creative thinkers and decision-makers in urban planning, sustainable energy, mobility, ICT, smart business models and user-centric innovation.
This year, a special session will be dedicated to success stories in Urban Innovation to highlight good practice and achievements and showcase innovative solutions. On October 3rd, Javier Martín from VEOLIA will present the paper “CITyFiED: innovative business model in Laguna de Duero’s Torrelago district”. The presentation will offer an insight into the energy renovation of the Torrelago district, with a focus on the strategy, challenges and lessons learned.
