Värmdö municipality, with a unique archipelago meets the future in a sustainable way. The aim is to be a role model in our consumption of renewal energy. We will not only stop using fossil fuels, we are active in the transition and produce our own energy. In order to become a resilient society and reach our objective we want to be a cluster city and look at solutions in the EU. Bench-marking and being a part of an international network goes in line with our desire to be a sustainable municipality.
We dare to try new solutions and different types of energy are used. We use modern and environmental friendly transports and build our low energy building close to public transports.
